What are you listening to now that WGN has been deleted from the presets? Anyone got any good ideas?
I've been spending more time with NPR on WBEZ 91.5, Stephanie Miller on WCPT 820, and Diane Rehm podcasts from WAMU 88.5 out of Washington DC.
But for a real girlfriend vibe the closet so far is WFMP-FM 107.1 out of Minneapolis. They cover hot topics, outfits, celebrity gossip, and some left-of-center politics all in fun, if a little too silly sometimes. Some hosts are better than others; Jason Matheson is a sweetie-pie goose with an annoying laugh from 11:00 to 1:00, and Lori and Julia are a terific pair from 3:00 to 6:00.
And there's always the Satellite Sisters.
Those are my recommendations so far. What are you listeing to now that K&J have been retired?
BTW There's no need for those of you who didn't like K&J to leave snarky remarks here. You just go like whatever you want without dissing those of us who sorely miss the girlfriends.
