Nice write up Holmes---what did you copy and paste out of your resume to reply to this? Either that or you have hired Shills to scan the web for mentions of your name..afterall it was once called the "ME" show. What a pompous know it all.

: This isn't Laurence Holmes' first time getting face time. I think he's done "Chicago Tonight: The Week in Review" from time to time with Joel Weisman and his All-Star panel of reporters from both print & electronic media. The 670 The SCORE host has also appeared in the past as a "Rant & Rave" participant with Tom Waddle on Corey McPherrin's "Final Word" Sundays at 10p on FOX32 (FOX Chicago), plus long before NBC5 cancelled its Sunday morning newscast last month, LoHo had also gotten face time on that station's 8a newscast previewing the Bears' game & also trying to educate the likes of Ellie Pae Hong, Zoraida Sambolin & meteorologist Ginger Zee a specific, different football term every week, just hours before kickoff. I think the reason why Laurence has gotten ripped in recent months has a lot to do with his bosses at WSCR SportsRadio. Once Mike North parted company with WSCR in a contract dispute last summer, SportsRadio 670 bosses wasted little time moving Mike Mulligan & Brian Hanley from 10a-Noon weekdays to morning drive and put Laurence in "Mully & Hanley's" time slot without giving others such as Matt Abbatacola, Jason Goff, Brian "The Whipping Boy" Paruch, Zach Zaidman & Chris Rongey a chance to earn the time slot permanently. The hiring of former Bear Dan Hampton didn't help matters either for LoHo.

: : I just caught Lawrence Holmes on "Chicago Tonight, The Week In Review". He is very refreshing. I'm not a sports fan, so, despite having seen posts on this board about him, they meant nothing. But he is sharp and witty, and able to converse quite intelligently on a variety of topics. And he's a young cutie to boot!
