John Williams’ short tenure should not be a surprise. He was anointed – with little pay raise – only after Steve Cochran turned it down for financial reasons. Then, the PD who selected him left for WLS a couple of weeks later!

Greg Jarrett has a nationally respected news and talk reputation – and he comes from a highly successful station (#1 adults for years) very similar to WGN. I’d rather give him a try instead of a recycled has been.
