I find this to be a curious selection. Greg Jarret is 56. He is not going to be around for a long time. He may even be a stop gap (for WGN) for a couple of years until the right talent is available. Would the Tribune Company give Kevin Metheny that much rope?

If one looks at the KGO TV promo, one realizes Greg Jarrett is very overweight. This not the kind of environment where somebody like him (@56) should be placed in a high stress situation
unless this is a "bridge" job.

I hope this works for WGN. I like John Williams and hope the change is good for him.
