The end of the Webio era

First of all, I would like to thank all of you that followed me on this journey to chicagosportswebio.com.

The end has come as the cswebio.com stream will be pulled at 5 pm today.

The owner of this company has been involved in many shady deals, deals that I was not aware of and we were all taken for a ride.

I really had a great time working with Tim Doyle, who is a fun partner to be with on and off the air.

I'll let you know what my plans are in the very near future, but for right now Tim and I signed off of webio.

Webio was a great concept, with really shady ownership and I feel bad for everyone involved not only at Webio but at Next Step Medical and the other 800 employees that were badly beaten out of money and opportunity to grow their respective companies.

I can't speak for everyone, but the goal for the show I did with Tim is to be a sports talk alternative and provide something new for listeners. I believe we accomplished that.

My thanks to Steve Goffman, Qumar Zuman, Loni Fagel, Dave Olson, Mike Greeney, Scotty F. Mike and BeBe North, Jeff Schwartz, the Webio Girls and everyone who helped the venture take off.

I hope to talk to you all very soon!
