it took me 6 times to diagnose the message. it's a really poorly, lofty written sentence. we gotta cut him some slack tho, he's clearly writing circles around lazare. phil is literally our only media reporter now here in chicago. anyway.. what he's saying is that the new morning guy has about the same style &personality that wgn listeners are used to, which is surprising because everyone's been talking about how wgn is trying to go younger and more edgy.. and the recent onair "tryouts" have made it seem like young & edgy was the direction..
