Woman Sues Clear Channel, WMMS Morning Hosts

A woman is suing Clear Channel/Cleveland after she said a drunken "radio personality" with CC's WMMS-FM's "Rover's Morning Glory" hit her in the forehead with a beer bottle he threw from the stage at "Roverfest," a street party. Tiffany Yuhasz claims Clear Channel encouraged Dominick Dieter to indulge in his "criminal personality," on co-defendant Rover's (Shane French) morning show.

Yuhasz says she suffered "nerve damage, pigmentation change, tissue loss and indentation of her forehead" when Dieter took the stage at Roverfest and threw a beer bottle into the air. She also alleges that Dieter has "historically accumulated numerous incidents of assault and physical injury upon himself, other persons and property" and that his behavior was condoned, and left unrestrained" by Clear Channel and French.

Yuhasz is seeking more than $4000 in damages for pain and suffering and medical expenses. (06-26-09)
