On August 3rd at 6am, it will have been exactly 25 years since three people witnessed history in the studio on the 12th floor of the 180 N. Michigan building... the revival of Chicago legend Dick Biondi's career, and the birth of Magic 104, WJMK.

The other two people?

David Earl, who signed off WJEZ's country format and continued on a short while with 'JMK; and 'JEZ part-timer Pat O'Kelley, who came down to the studio just to watch the whole thing happen. O'Kelley stayed at 'JMK for 18+ years in various capacities.

Biondi has a few folks to thank for his 1984 restart and tireless continuation, and listeners still enjoy him nights at WLS-FM.

Pat's email listing at 440.com is still current.
