Phyllis Schwartz, who at one time was a driving force behind three different Chicago news broadcasts for over 18 years, including being the Vice President of News & Creative Services for NBC5... moved back to her native California in 1999 and continued to advance her TV News career there. She was the President of San Diego's NBC outlet and then moved into an upper management role with NBC Universal Corporate's local media division. She recently stepped away from the over-sized corporate world, but Phyllis was just named CEO for Jumpitz, an entertainment group that uses stories, music & dance to inspire young children.
