The TV show 27/7 Chicago had is season premier after Saturday Night Live this weekend. One of their segments was a behind the scenes look at the Walter E. Smithe sponsored commercial to help bring the 2016 Olympics to Chicago. Featured in the commercial (or p.s.a., depending on your point of view) was local radio stars Roe Conn and Steve Dahl, who both were willing to say on camera how much they "back the bid." (The fact that the Smithe family has been long-time sponsors of both of their programs & efforts didn't play into the radio hosts' decisions to do the spot for them, I'm sure...)
