With the excitement about Dick Biondi's 3rd Anniversary on WLS-FM, the joy of finding out about his new two year contract, Paul Shaffer's mention of him in today's Sun-Times and Robert Feder's fine salute to Chicago's greatest rock DJ... it's time to turn the wayback machine on and listen to an aircheck of Mr. Biondi's. On the YouTube video below is an aircheck from WLS-AM from December 4th, 1962. Some may think he is sounding great and in his prime on this old recording; some may think he sounds just as good today as he did 47 years ago. Enjoy!
