The new site with six towers at 127th just east of Halsted has been built, and looks ready to go. I've heard the
same as Nd, in terms of some equipment being behind schedule. I also heard they were having some
other issues at the site with some type of water problem at the new site. I cannot confirm this, I have not spoken
directly to any of the engineers.

Does anyone know if the engineers at WRTO are happy about running IBOC? WRTO is one of the worst sounding
stations in Chicago due to IBOC. On the current setup they are causing interference to as far out as WYLL and WSBC,
not to mention causing interference to WKRS AM 1220, WSQR AM 1180 and WJOB AM 1230, within their protected
coverage area's. I can only imagine how much worse this will become once they fire up the new site, with 20kw
during the day and 4.5kw at night. I am not blaming the engineer's for the problem, I know their forced by corporate
to run IBOC.
