Presently 2 stations share 88.3 FM in the northwest suburbs:

WHCM Palatine (Harper College)
WCLR Arlington Heights (Air 1 Christian CHR)

I remember in the 70's 2 stations shared 90.9 FM:

WDCB Glen Ellyn (College of DuPage)
WEPS Elgin (Elgin Area School District U46)

The Elgin station eventually moved to 88.9.

Many AM stations shared the same frequency in the Chicago area from the 1920's-1950's. It would be a major research project to list them all.

I remember in the 70's when WFMT was simulcast on AM 1450. The call letters of the FM station were changed from WFMT to WFMT-FM. Another classical station, WNIB was briefly simulcast on AM. The owners of WNIB bought 96.9 WKZN-FM Zion and AM 1500 WKZN Zion, and simulcast WNIB's classical music on all 3 stations. The call letters of the Zion stations were changed to WNIZ-FM and WNIZ respectively.
