I remember the Morning Loop Guys well. Why? Because they were so bad. It was the worst morning show I can remember ever being on the Loop. I tried to give them a chance but it was terrible radio especially for a morning show. They tended to be negative and not particularly funny which listeners don't need to start their day. I remember towards the end of that year that Max (I think) was having some kind of problems at home and they were chronicling his getting help and therapy – it was a terrible fit on the Loop. Maybe on another station it might have worked. The only bright spot on that show was Bruce Wolf who is always solid. Byrd breathed new life into Loop mornings when he replaced them before Johnny came on board.
