JAY MARVIN's long-term fill-in for mornings at CLEAR CHANNEL Talk KKZN-A (AM 760)/DENVER, DAVID SIROTA, is now the permanent choice for the slot, as MARVIN continues to concentrate on recovery from health problems that sidelined him in MARCH.
SIROTA, an author and Democratic political strategist, said, "Talk radio often ends up being a mindless screaming match between Democratic and Republican Party propagandists, but what we need is more frank debate, honest discussion and tough questions. That’s what I aim to bring to AM 760."
MARVIN said, "DAVID has been a good friend and supporter of mine. I can’t think of anyone I would rather have take my place on AM 760. I know he will be very successful."
--One note: Marvin's been very gracious throughout all this, and more than one person has told me he did understand he may not be able to return to his Boulder station at all, as he had been gone too long.
If Jay wishes to pursue liberal talk once his recovery is more complete, let's hope to HELL Newsweb grabs him. He'd be a great fit at that place.
