: There is nothing out there in the press that I can find just yet, but I am hearing some strong rumblings that NextMedia will be selling off its most valuable asserts to get out from under bankruptcy. It's most valuable asset? The Chicago cluster of 11 stations. This could possibly allow them to continue on & survive in their other smaller markets. Another possibility is them selling off the 11 Chicago stations, along with their 8 North Carolina stations. It's a bigger blow to the company, losing their best stations and leaving them with very little, but it keeps it alive. I'm hearing that the lenders involved with this bankruptcy will force this sale to happen fairly quickly. Just a heads up to expect to hear much more about this after the holidays...

Who would buy?

I know EMF would buy one or more, they're always looking to expand.

95.1/1050 and 102.3/1220 would likely go together as they share studios and towers.
