You got it there - traffic reporters change names because we think you're stupid. Also - traffic reporters who have well known names make a ton of money - so Shadow traffic has a policy to make sure their reporters aren't able to build a brand with their name..... lesser known traffic reporters tend not to demand six figure salaries. Well known reporters are known to make about $150,000ish per year.
