Tribune's sounding more Jacor-like.
from Tom Taylor

Cable-carried WGN-TV, Chicago is no longer promoting itself as "Superstation WGN" - but "WGN America, TV you can't ignore." Jacor's 1990s slogan was "radio you can't ignore", and sometimes even "the noise you can't ignore." So the Randy Michaels-run Tribune is re-working the staid image of WGN-TV - and this week, it's also doing a salute to the 1970s, with lots of "WKRP in Cincinnati" show and promos voiced by (who else?) Casey Kasem. I hear there's more like that on the way at Tribune, with a jaunty crew of radio folks now running the joint.
