Paul Harvey To Return
PAUL HARVEY will return to his midday "NEWS AND COMMENT" show on ABC RADIO NETWORKS starting SATURDAY on a part-time basis, gradually increasing to daily, affiliates were told TODAY (7/17). HARVEY's son PAUL HARVEY JR. will continue handling morning editions of the "NEWS AND COMMENTS" feature until the elder HARVEY is ready to return.
On the midday newscast TODAY, HARVEY said that he will be returning on a gradual basis, noting that he is still mourning the loss of wife ANGEL and the show "will never be the same as when we had ANGEL's 24-hour perspective. I will do my best with what remains, but it will be something less."
