Don sounded great as a top 40 morning jock on WIBG, the Rock of Philadelphia, back in the early 70s. Sort of similar to Fred Winston in his top 40 days. Super smooth, bright, conversational and that hint of sarcasm always bubbling under the surface.

: Back when he was a music DJ, what kind of personality did Don have? Was he actually a guy who had fun on the radio?
