I'm hoping that with Greg Garrett's sense of the world and current events, he truly will present a rather informative and yet entertaining (if you like current events) show. I don't have to have someone with an opinion who is also arrogant. I do like people to have opinions though... that is what makes a talk show host a commentator and not just a journalist.
I hope this guy is willing to tackle some opinionated issues from time to time. I'm not sure that this is what he is going to, but I will give him a chance.
I hope that John Williams will take the memo and allow himself to be more opinionated as well. He doesn't have to be Jerry Agar arrogant or angry. But take a stance an run with it... don't be afraid of pissing people off.
I'm looking forward to Monday.
By the way, Kevin Wall on WLS this week (filling in for Don and Roma) has been excellent. He's not an angry voice or one who is condensing. I like him.
